Regenerative Oxidisers 3 Canister (RTO-3 can)

The most familiar
regenerative configuration is
the 3 can design., with two
working and one purging
canister which is signed to
meet the most demanding
specifications. The wide range
of available options means that
this process can be adapted for
extremely heavy duty
operating conditions.

During operation of the regenerative thermal
oxidiser the cyclical switch over of the flow of
exhaust air leaves a residue of exhaust gas
(dead fume) in each canister. Before this can used
as a clean gas canister, it must be purged
completely to avoid emission peaks in the treated
gas. These units are designed to run with the
minimum operating costs. Special PLC software and
switching systems minimise pressure drop and
saves electrical energy.
