The economical 2 canister
thermal oxidiser system
unit was developed for use
with low hydrocarbon
concentrations, and lower
destruction efficiency
requirements.
For specific applications
involving especially low
solvent concentrations, these
units are fitted with highly
effective ceramic honeycombs,
resulting in reduced
dimensions, less pressure drop
and lower operating costs.

This regenerative system works
without the purging container of
the third canister configuration,
switching the flow of exhaust air
alternatively between the two main
canisters.
Quick action air tight dampers guarantee that this mode of operation also results in treated gas with low average emission levels. Furthermore if the Amtom Systems Limited buffer system is fitted, the peaks occurring at the change over ( Un burnt Hydrocarbons) are returned to the RTO system.
